I bring over 20 years of experience in the field. I began my career working with youth involved in the justice system and their families, which provided a strong foundation in understanding multifaceted mental health needs, complex behaviour, family dynamics, and systemic factors.
I then spent several years in children’s community mental health in a variety of roles, including providing supervision to therapists at different stages of their careers. During this time, I also worked within a trauma-focused agency supporting adults, and subsequently developed a program specifically for children who had experienced trauma.
I have been in private practice since 2019, where I have focused more deeply on play therapy. I am a Certified Play Therapist through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy (CAPT), and I am currently working toward certification as a Play Therapy Supervisor.
